Colégio Júlio Dinis offers all of its students a High School education designed to meet the demands and challenges of university education.

Thus, in the three courses offered (Science and Technology, Languages and Humanities and Socio-Economic Sciences), the curricular matrices have been designed to take into account the profile of the students in this cycle, in order to guarantee a successful course of study. Throughout this cycle, extra time and split teaching are allocated to various subject areas, which are crucial for the development and consolidation of learning.

Our aim is also to develop a Personal and Social Development project with the students in which they will work on study techniques and habits and define the possible higher education courses that they could fit into. In addition, students are helped to prepare for the national exams they take as entrance exams to university.

Taking into account autonomy and curricular flexibility, the school allows students to adopt a diversified learning path in which they can swap one of the two-year subjects and/or one of the annual subjects in the specific training component of the course for corresponding subjects in a different course (in accordance with the rules set out in Ministerial Order 226-A/2018.
